Welcome to Woolyacres. We hope you enjoy your visit with our Babydolls. We were introduced to Olde English Babydoll Miniature Southdown Sheep in 2004. We have a small flock but have added more sheep a few at a time. The Babydolls are great pets produce fine wool for spinning , provide organic weeding, make excellent companion animals. We feel they are just plain fun to be around. Sometimes they seem almost human, especially when I drive in the driveway and they start baa-ing telling me it’s time to eat. Except they think it’s time to eat all the time. Our grandchildren entered them in our county 4H fair and did quite well. The sheep were quite a hit since they were the only Babydolls at the fair and not many people have ever even heard of them. We have also added a Miniature Cheviot ewe and a Shetland Ram and ewe and some fiber Alpacas. So they keep us busy but we do get a lot of enjoyment out of them.

We ‘re taking deposits on our 2011 Lambs. We bred all our Ewes to our white RR ram. We also have a few yearling ewes available that will be ready to breed next season A $50.00 deposit will reserve your lamb for you. We will also have raw fiber available. Babydoll, Cheviot, Shetland and Alapaca. Someday I hope to have spun fiber available but I’m just learning so it will be awhile yet. It is fun and something I have always wanted to do with our own fiber.
